This Wednesday, Feb 4, Lakeside Speakeasy Toastmasters Club invites all UCOP colleagues to join them for a special open house event in Broadway and via Zoom.

Cybersecurity expert and Navy submarine veteran Tim Carlisle will be the guest speaker at the next Lakeside Speakeasy Toastmasters Open House.

Special guest speaker Tim Carlisle, cybersecurity expert and Navy submarine veteran, will speak about his military experience in the “silent service” — the 20 years he spent serving our country beneath the ocean on four submarines, during which he rose to the rank of chief petty officer. He previously served as Toastmasters International District 4 director and has earned two Distinguished Toastmasters Awards. Read more about Tim.

All guests will have the opportunity to immediately practice their speaking and leadership skills, and Oakland staff will meet Toastmasters members in person while enjoying a complimentary lunch. Reservations are required (see below).
