Join the President’s Advisory Committee on the Status of Women (PACSW) and the Black Staff and Faculty Organization (BSFO) in celebrating Women’s History Month this March!

“Give to Gain” Donation Drive and celebration
In the spirit of this year’s International Women’s Day theme, “Give to Gain,” PACSW is running a donation drive and in-person social event to sort and package our donations.

Stop by to enjoy coffee and sweets at this community celebration of Women’s History Month, hosted in partnership with BSFO.

Please note that PACSW can only accept donations of the items listed below.
- Clothing (new): socks, underwear
- Travel-sized toiletries:
— Toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant
— Liquid soap, hand sanitizer - Baby wipes
- Band-Aids
- Tampons/maxi pads

Pioneering Menopause Research and Care Webinar
On Tuesday, March 17, from 10 to 11 a.m. (PT), join PACSW and the Systemwide Advisory Committees on the Status of Women for a Women’s History Month webinar featuring UC leaders in women’s health research and care to discuss their cutting-edge work and how UC is leading the way in menopause science. Virtual Keynote Conversation with Dr. Maria Martin
On Tuesday, March 24, from 12 to 1 p.m. (PT), join us for a virtual keynote conversation exploring the intersections of scholarship, leadership and community advocacy, and learn how these efforts contribute to spaces where we can thrive, individually and collectively. Dr. Martin is a Black Studies & Gender Studies scholar at UC Merced. She is the founder of the Black Alliance, an initiative that supported the creation of the Black Student Resource Center.
