APISA Mid-Autumn Moon Festival potluck
Wednesday, October 4, 2017, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
UC Davis Distinguished Professor and Confucius Institute Executive Director Michelle Yeh will discuss the origin of the Moon Festival, the cultural significance of the moon as it appears in Chinese mythology and poetry, and traditional celebrations associated with the festival.
There will be mooncake and tea tastings provided by the UCD Confucius Institute. Please bring a potluck dish to share.
