Black History Month research symposium

In celebration of Black History Month, the Black Staff & Faculty Organization and the Office of the Vice Provost for Diversity & Engagement will sponsor research symposia that highlight contributions of African-American scholarship and research across the University of California system.

• James B. Pratt, Jr., graduate student, Criminology, Law and Society, UC Irvine
• Courtney Thomas, assistant professor, Sociology, University of Kentucky and postdoctoral fellow at UCLA

Light refreshments will be served.
