CPR/AED certification (AHA Heartsaver course)

In this instructor-led American Heart Association Heartsaver® training course, you will learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and how to use the automated external defibrillator (AED). Administering CPR and the AED dramatically increases the odds of survival during a cardiac or respiratory emergency.

Those who successfully complete the three-hour session will receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver® CPR AED Course Completion Card valid for two years.

Registration is open to anyone interested in becoming certified or in recertifying. Every student will have hands-on skills practice with a mannequin and receive feedback from the instructor. Preregistration required through the UC Learning Center.
