This is a live, virtual, instructor-led session where we will discuss the UCOP policies on Equal Employee Opportunity, Employment Discrimination Laws and Policies, and Employment Law and UCOP Accommodation and Leaves Services. Topics include an overview of:
- Equal Employee Opportunities policies
- Employment Discrimination Laws and Policies
- Labor and Employment Law
- Family and Medical Leave (FML)
- Reasonable Accommodations
- Worker’s Compensation
This is part of the Manager Essentials at UCOP (ME@UCOP). It is required for all people new to a management or supervisory positions at UCOP since 2020 (internal promotions and external hires). All experienced managers are welcome to attend.
