Milk as Medicine

August is National Breastfeeding Month, a time to celebrate and support breast/chestfeeding families. In honor of Breastfeeding Month and Indigenous Milk Medicine Week, UCSF Family Services and the UC Health Milk Bank are hosting a webinar, The Gift of Milk as Medicine: Expanding Donor Milk Access and Community Impact, featuring UC Milk Bank Executive Director Alison Wolf, CPNP, IBCLC. Learn about donor human milk’s vital role in infant health outcomes and opportunities to increase awareness and connection to donation efforts. All UC employees and learners are welcome.
