Recruiting and Retaining Native American and Indigenous Students

In celebration and honor of Native American Heritage Month, the UCOP Native American, Indigenous, and Pacific Islander Staff Association, UC Berkeley Native and Indigenous Council, and the Cal Native & Indigenous Alumni Association invite you to join a virtual panel discussion on recruiting and retaining Native American and Indigenous students to the UC. The panel will feature Phenocia Bauerle, director of Native American Student Development at UC Berkeley and member of the UC President’s Native American Advisory Council; Yvette Gullatt, vice president for Graduate and Undergraduate Affairs and vice provost for equity, diversity and inclusion; and Kristin Theis-Alvarez, dean of admissions and financial aid at UC Berkeley Law and chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee of the Law School Admissions Council.
