Toastmasters Open House
Toastmasters will be hosting an open house on Wednesday, February 4thrd, from 12:05 to 12:55 p.m., via Zoom and in Oakland (Room 10001 on the 10th floor of the Broadway building).
Food will be provided!
Our speaker will be Tim Carlisle. Tim’s talk will be about submarines. Tim is a US Submarine Veteran and a Project Management and Information Security expert. For 20 years, he spent much of his time beneath the waves as a member of the Silent Service. Tim will be speaking about his experience as a Submarine Veteran.
All guests will have an opportunity to immediately practice their speaking and leadership skills, and Oakland staff will have an opportunity to meet Toastmasters members in person while enjoying a complimentary lunch.

Can’t make the open house this February 4th?
Or April 1st, 2026, featuring Karrie Keegan. Karrie is a top retail salesperson and has been a member of Toastmasters for the past 14 years. She has achieved the Distinguished Toastmaster Award and is involved in three clubs as Vice President of Public Relations and Vice President of Education.
The club also typically meets from 12:05 to 12:55 p.m. on Zoom on Thursdays and once a month in person for a hybrid event (Oakland/Zoom) on the first Wednesdays of the month.
