Each year, the University issues billions of dollars in debt to fund transformative capital projects and strategically refinance existing obligations. Patrick Malloy, Director of Capital Markets Finance, will take us behind the scenes of UC’s nearly $40 billion debt portfolio, offering an inside look at the financial engine that helps power the University’s future. Patrick will cover UC’s complicated credit structure, the bond issuance process, and how we manage our debt over the long term to ensure the continued financial health of the university.
