UC Travel Earth Month: Amtrak

Join the UC Central Travel Office for its “lunch flyover” series — short events taking place throughout Earth Month that focus on UC Travel partners’ sustainability priorities. Passenger rail is widely recognized to be the most sustainable and efficient mode of transportation. At this event, Amtrak representatives will share their company’s vision to double ridership by 2040; achieve net-zero emissions by 2045; and implement plans to be more resilient and adaptive to climate impacts.
