Celebration of Oral Traditions

Dr. Linda Humes (John Jay College) will present a lecture on the history and importance of the oral tradition in African and African American history. Two other professional storytellers, Masankho Banda and Oba William King, will follow Dr. Humes with traditional storytelling performances.
