  • UCOP Alert: Notifications specific to our office
    UCOP Alert is an emergency notification system allowing UCOP employees to receive informational alerts on their personal phones or by email outside business hours. All UCOP employees are automatically enrolled with their UCOP email and phone number. Log in to UCOP Alert with your single sign-on credentials to update your profile and add your preferred cell phone number. Download detailed instructions.
  • Alameda Sheriff’s Office Tips
    Report concerning safety situations in Alameda County anonymously by completing a simple online form.
  • BART watch app
    This free mobile app for iOS and Android lets you quickly and discreetly report criminal or suspicious activity directly to BART Police.
  • Citizen app
    This free app is available in most locations and helps you stay aware of emergencies and public safety incidents in real-time. An optional subscription provides additional benefits.
  • Oakland Nixle alerts
    Sign up to receive alerts from public agencies for severe weather, criminal activities, severe traffic, missing persons and local events.
  • Oakland Police Department Tip Line
    To contact the Oakland Police Department with a tip, text TIP OAKLANDPD to 888777 from your cellphone or call the toll-free tip hotline at 855-TIPS-247 (855-847-7247).
