“This year’s award recipients have distinguished themselves by doing impressive work to address the needs of their fellow students,” said President Drake.

Abiel Malepeai and Maribel Patiño received the President’s Award for Outstanding Student Leadership, and 12 students were honored with Regents Foster Youth Awards.

The honorees include Marlenee Blas Pedral, Mary Tran, Merhawi Tesfai, William Carter and Deniss Martinez.
