Created in July 2024 by Veterans Among US (VAUS), the Selfless Service photo project recognizes veterans and service members, past and present, who work at UCOP and those connected to UCOP employees.

Employee Service Associate Denise Leon’s father, Master Sergeant Gilbert Hernandez; uncle, Sergeant Felipe Hernandez; and uncle, Sergeant Louie Hernandez served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Julunda Osborne, sister of Benefits Associate Joy Lewis, served in the U.S. Army through her retirement as a combat medic specialist.
U.S. Army Senior Supply Sergeant James Morrow, brother of Benefits Associate Stephanie Bennett, is currently stationed in Hawaii. He has been in service since 2013 and looks forward to serving his country until he retires.
Sergeant Joseph Rangel, son of Benefits Associate Ann Rangel, serving in the Marines at Camp Pendelton. He has been in the Marines since he was 18 years old and re-enlisted for another six years.
