Reminder: Staff Professional Development Awards
If you’ve been wanting to apply for a career-boosting training but need more funds to support your goal, the OP Staff Assembly (OPSA) may be able to help.
The Staff Professional Development Program provides contract and career employees with funding to pursue professional development. Awards can be used to help pay for conferences, classes, books or other career-development opportunities.
Applications are accepted through March 31. Employees from all UCOP locations are welcome to participate. Download the application.
How are these awards funded?
Last November, OPSA held a holiday poinsettia sale in the Franklin building. The event was a fundraiser to support these awards and raised $1,500.

When will I find out if I have been selected?
The OPSA selection committee will review submissions in April. Awardees will be announced at a staff appreciation event in early May.
