This is a tremendously rewarding program. I would encourage anyone managing staff or projects to apply. You will work EXTREMELY hard day and night (you’ll treasure those fleeting moments when you can escape to the beach for 5 minutes to decompress.) What you’ll come away with is useful (and possibly enlightening) insight into your management strengths and the makings of a solid, comprehensive action plan. Objective behavioral feedback is a good skill to learn and practice. You’ll have a good time poking fun at trying to learn OBF:) You’ll connect with colleagues from across the UC system and you’ll return home with a new perpective on your career.
