Sign up for Excel, project management classes

Spruce up your Excel skills or learn how to better track a project through two classes offered Thursday.

The UC Learning Center is offering these two classes to help OP staff improve their skills:

Excel 2007 Advanced teaches experienced Excel users to import and export data, format numbers, work with ranges, work with macros, apply data analysis tools, summarize data and more.

This class is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 21 in Franklin 7107. The course, which builds on concepts learned from the introductory and intermediate Excel classes, is hands-on and highly interactive.

Project Management: Scheduling and Tracking a Project teaches employees how to convert a project plan and estimates into a project schedule. They also will learn how to track project status, and monitor and update any project risks.

This course is 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, June 21 in Franklin 11326.

Enroll today through the UC Learning Center with your UCOP username and password.

  • Using the SEARCH box on the left, type in the name of the class and click on the UCOP session
  • Click REGISTER next to the class title
  • Click SUBMIT
