Reminder: UCOP 2012 Holiday Party Friday, Dec. 14

Make some time on Friday, Dec. 14, to eat, mingle and celebrate the season. That’s the date for UCOP’s progressive and simultaneous 2012 Holiday Party, which will offer great food, a decoration competition and musical entertainment throughout the day.

Festivities will begin with cider and sweets, 8 to 9 a.m. in the Franklin Lobby 1 Conference Room, served by senior leadership. And since the 14th is also the date for the customary second Friday breakfast, Kaiser will offer a full breakfast, also hosted by senior leadership. Both locations will have live musical entertainment.

Events continue in the Franklin building at 10 a.m., with the traditional holiday decoration contest. Senior leaders and representatives of the OP Staff Assembly will tour the floors looking for the best displays from among those competing for top honors.

Then, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., there will be simultaneous parties in three different locations in the Franklin building: Lobby 1 Conference Room, 5320 and the President’s Conference Room on the 12th floor. Each will have a different flavor of food, including freshly carved turkey, finger foods and desserts, all accompanied by live musical entertainment by the UCOP Singers and other performers.

If you have been a member of the UCOP Singers in the past but didn’t have time to work with them this year, or even if you just like to sing, don’t be shy. They are inviting you to join in throughout the day as they share their repertoire of traditional Christmas carols and songs from other nations and faiths.

The holiday party is funded entirely through donations from UCOP managers to show their sincere appreciation for all that you do. Don’t miss this opportunity to visit with your colleagues and celebrate our collective accomplishments.
