Heads up for closure of City Center BART entrances

If you take BART and use the entrance at 11th St. and Broadway, closest to the Franklin building entrance, heads up!
That entrance is scheduled to close for two weeks, from this Wednesday, March 27, through Tuesday, April 9, while BART crews replace security gates at all station entrances to and from the 12th St./Oakland City Center Station.
Plan ahead and give yourself a few extra minutes to cross the street and use the southwest entrance (Marriott side of the street), which will not be closed until April 24.
The work will be done on a rotating basis and will involve two entrances, at opposite sides of the station, at a time. Crews will remove and replace the security gates and are scheduled to complete the work on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, subject to change.
Each entrance will be closed for approximately two weeks while the work is completed. Scheduled dates of other station entrance closures are detailed on the BART passenger bulletin.
