UCOP welcomes Mark Meaney, Director of Ethics and Compliance

Please join the Office of Ethics, Compliance & Audit Services in welcoming Mark Meaney as the Director, Ethics and Compliance for the Ethics, Compliance and Audit Services Department replacing Rachelle Jeppson who assumed the role of Controller at LBNL.
Mark is joining UC from the City of Chicago’s Compliance Department where he served as the First Deputy Director, Chief Compliance Operations Officer for several years. Mark is a seasoned compliance professional who received his doctorate in organizational ethics and compliance from Marquette University and has worked in ethics and compliance for over 17 years. He has also served as graduate school faculty at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, PA and Penn State University specializing in corporate responsibility, ethics and compliance.
The Ethics, Compliance and Audit Services Department is excited to have Mark join the team serving campus colleagues and looks forward to the insights he will bring to UC’s Ethics and Compliance Program from another industry. Mark will be at UCOP starting the week of April 12, 2010.
