UC wins three communications design awards

In its 40th annual design competition, the University & College Designers Association (UCDA) awarded UC with two gold awards for exceptional design work to promote educational institutions, which includes secondary, vocational and higher education. UC garnered two of the six gold awards given this year as well as one silver award.

Our advocacy piece supporting Intersegmental Day and the UC Honorary Degrees website both won golds in the national competition of 1,300 entrants. And the UC Undergraduate Research website won a silver.

Competitors included the California College of the Arts (CCA), the School of Visual Arts (SVA), Harvard University, Cornell University and Columbia University, among others. Categories of work included three broad categories – print, electronic media and sustainable design.
