UCSF’s Laurel Mellin on Brain Training, Tuesday, May 17

Join Laurel Mellin for a brown bag lunch on Tuesday, May 17, 12 to 1 pm in 5320 Franklin. Her presentation is entitled “Emotional Brain Training: A Scientific Solution to Stress.”

Author of Wired for Joy and The Pathway, Mellin is associate clinical professor of family and community medicine and pediatrics at UCSF. She will discuss Emotional Brain Training (EBT), a program that enables users to switch the emotional brain from stress to joy to improve habits, mood, productivity, relationships, weight, memory and health.

The event is sponsored by the UC President’s Advisory Committee on the Status of Women (PACSW) and will include a raffle for one bouquet of flowers.
