- Academic Senate Chair Daniel Simmons: Notes and Reflections. Outgoing Senate Chair Simmons’ extended reflections on the year that was.
- Faculty Salary Increases. President Yudof has authorized a 3 percent merit-based salary increase for UC faculty taking effect Oct. 1, 2011.
- Implementation Task Force Report and “Rebenching” Plan. The Academic Council recently endorsed 23 recommendations initiated by its Implementation Task Force (ITF) that proposes a framework for allocating State funds within the University. The plan outlines short-, medium- and long-term options for managing the budget gap and enrollment.
