Excel for Power Users, Thursday, Feb. 21, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., 7107 Franklin

For experienced Excel users, this all-day class provides practical experience using Excel’s most powerful features and sophisticated data analysis techniques. You will learn how to develop better solutions faster and implement those solutions with a greater understanding of the complex set of factors that affect business outcomes.

Essentials of Communication, Tuesday, Feb. 26, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 12322 Franklin

Would you like to communicate more easily and effectively with your manager and colleagues? In this interactive workshop, you will learn to assess your own communication patterns and how to respond to the communication styles of others. You will also practice giving and receiving constructive feedback.

Career Management, Session 1, Wednesday, Feb. 27, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 11326 Franklin

This two-session series will help you take charge of your career and achieve your career goals. Session 1 covers self assessment, development planning and resume writing. It is a prerequisite for session 2 (March 14), which covers learning to network, practice interviews and resume critiques.

• Log in using your UCOP login and password.
• Using the Search box on the left, type in the name of the class you want; that will bring up Results of Search.
• Click the session you want, then click on the Register box and Submit.
