Nov. 7: Don’t miss UC President Janet Napolitano’s town hall

Come meet UC President Janet Napolitano at her first UCOP Town Hall, which takes place Thursday, Nov. 7, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Elihu Harris State Office Building Auditorium, 1515 Clay St. (corner of 15th St.) in downtown Oakland.
The event, cosponsored by OP Staff Assembly, will give you an opportunity to hear and speak directly with President Napolitano, who began her tenure as UC’s first woman president on Sept. 30. She will share impressions gleaned from her initial weeks in office and campus tours and answer questions from the UCOP community.
If you are interested in submitting questions in advance, please send an email with your question to the OP Staff Assembly at OPStaffAssembly@ucop.edu; you may also submit questions anonymously via the OP Staff Assembly website.
For UCOP employees outside the Oakland area or anyone who will be unable to attend, the event will be webcast live via UC’s UStream channel. A video of the event will be archived at the same location following the event.
Consult the downtown Oakland map to locate the Elihu Harris State Office Building. Note that the building requires visitors to go through security screening, a process that may take up to 15 minutes, so please plan your travel time accordingly.
