Blood drive Dec. 11 is your chance to give something that means something

This holiday season, the American Red Cross asks you to give something that means something. Give a gift that can help save a life.

Giving blood is easy when the bloodmobile comes to UCOP. You can help those in medical need by scheduling an appointment to donate blood tomorrow, Wednesday, Dec. 11, from 8:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. There are still openings available at 9:45 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 1:15 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. Contact Jan Kehoe to make your appointment at (510) 987-9692 or

The American Red Cross Bloodmobile will be located on 11th St., between Franklin and Webster Streets, in front of the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) building. It’s just a half-block away from the Franklin building.

Go to the American Red Cross website to learn more about the donation process.
