January travel clinic: How to book travel

Booking travel is the focus of the Business Resource Center’s Jan. 19 clinic on UC’s travel and entertainment expense policies and reimbursement process.

The clinic will focus on booking airfare, rental cars and lodging through the Connexxus website. There will be a brief discussion of the differences between the most used booking agents within Connexxus – SWABIZ, BCD and UC Travel. A short demonstration will also include how to book travel for a guest or as a proxy.

The hour-long interactive session will be led by Mark Lozano, travel and entertainment team lead in the BRC, and his team will facilitate. Express users, proxies, travelers and reviewers are welcome.

The monthly clinics take place from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Franklin 9204. If you’re at a remote location, dial into ReadyTalk at 866-740-1260; the access code is 9870941. The schedule of upcoming clinics is as follows:

Feb. 16: Rental cars
March 21: Conference registration and business purpose

If you have questions about the clinics, please email BRC Audit Team.
