Come to an OP Staff Assembly meeting to offer your ideas and opinions

Take the opportunity to voice your opinions, exchange knowledge and provide ideas for how to make UCOP a better working environment – come to an OP Staff Assembly (OPSA) meeting!

All UCOP staff members are automatically part of OPSA. And all are invited to join the OPSA Steering Committee at their meetings, which are held the second Wednesday of every month from 12 to 1 p.m. Location varies but is always listed on the Link electronic calendar. The next meeting will be held:

Date: Wednesday, Feb. 8
Time: 12 to 1 p.m.
Location: Franklin 5320

Feel free to bring your lunch.

OPSA meetings include discussions of issues important to UCOP staff in order to offer OP leadership input about policies, processes and programs. Attending a meeting is a good way to get your concerns heard.

The OPSA Steering Committee also organizes staff events ranging from fun gatherings such as the Mardi Gras Mixer to informational brown bags on topics like eldercare and financial aid. Speaker series such as “Movin’ on Up” offer tips and assistance with career development. OPSA also partners with the Chief of Operations Office to put on the annual Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. If you’d like to be involved in events at OP, coming to an OPSA meeting is a great way to get started.
