Equity Chat: The impact of UCLA leaving the Pac-12 Conference
This Thursday, the President’s Advisory Committee on the Status of Women (PACSW) invites all UCOP colleagues to bring a beverage or snack and join them for an Equity Chat — a light reading and discussion on equity, diversity and inclusion topics.
This quarter’s chat focuses on UCLA’s departure from the Pac-12. Please read this article prior to the session and be prepared to share your thoughts. We will open the floor for thoughts and opinions around this move, given its negative impacts on student-athletes, loss of media rights for remaining schools and decision-making by individual campuses.
