“My highlight for 2023 was volunteering at Cat Town in Oakland!” says Jill Erbland, administrative operations manager, UC National Laboratories. “Cat Town focuses on getting ‘at-risk and unadoptable’ cats out of Oakland Animal Services and into loving homes — and it’s also a cat café.”

Jill, has volunteered at Cat Town since 2014. In 2023, she volunteered 200 hours!

“I volunteer as a host at the adoption center, welcoming visitors and helping them meet and engage with the cats on site. I also support the volunteer manager in onboarding and training new volunteers,” says Jill.
