On Nov. 20, the University of California announced the recipients of the Advancing Faculty Diversity Program (AFD) awards for the academic year 2023-24.

This program, designed to transform the professoriate and knowledge workforce of the future, provides crucial support to outstanding faculty members who contribute significantly to the university’s diversity efforts.

Vice Provost Douglas Haynes expressed enthusiasm for the program, stating, “The Advancing Faculty Diversity Program emphatically demonstrates the University of California’s unwavering commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion across the ten campuses.”
