The OP Staff Assembly (OPSA) invites all colleagues to join them at two fun events this week.
OPSA Staff Engagement Meeting featuring RASC
On Wednesday, March 13, at 1:10 p.m. (PT) the OPSA Staff Engagement meeting will feature Retirement Administration Service Center (RASC) representatives Doug Kanigher, Edward Brown and Risa Dimacali. They will highlight RASC’s new retirement counseling services, share common themes and questions employees tend to have regarding retirement and give you an opportunity to ask retirement-related questions.

Staff Assembly Virtual Bingo
On Friday, March 15, the OP Staff Assembly invites all staff to attend virtual bingo with colleagues from all UCOP locations, as well as UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara and UCSF.
Bingo will be led by UC Riverside Staff Assembly’s Director of Finance Penni Ebina and special guest board members.
There will be two virtual sessions: A matinee session, from 12 – 1 p.m. (PT), and an evening session, from 6 – 7:30 p.m. (PT). The registration deadline is 5 p.m. (PT) on March 14. Instructions and rules will be sent to each participant before the games. Zoom rooms will open 10 minutes before each session.
About OPSA
The OP Staff Assembly supports UC’s mission by encouraging communication between staff and the administration and other members of the university community on matters of interest to staff employees, in accordance with California laws and regental policy. Our activities provide forums where staff at all levels can discuss issues of mutual concern, and offer opinions and recommendations on policies, processes and programs.
Led by a steering committee of seven to fourteen employees from across UCOP’s units and departments, the assembly also fosters an understanding of the university’s mission and UCOP’s connection to UC campuses, hospitals and laboratories by providing networking opportunities to increase exchange of knowledge in all aspects of the OP community.
