It’s “End-of-Year” celebration time! If you’re thinking about hosting a department gathering or a morale-building event to show appreciation and acknowledge staff achievements, don’t miss the Business Resource Center’s (BRC’s) last Travel Talk Tuesday of 2024 on Tuesday, Nov. 26.

During this half-hour section, we’ll cover the do’s and don’ts of UCOP-funded events for staff. We will begin with a presentation and live demonstration of policies and required documents, then take time to answer attendee questions.

• Event requests: Find out how to seek payment through the BRC
• Expense reports: Learn what information you’ll need to include to request reimbursement for events paid for through your departmental card or personal funds. We’ll go over how to detail the purpose of the event, appropriate expense types, and required documentation and approvals.
