What is Spring into Motion?
It’s a fun, inspiring challenge that inspires you to move more while discovering “spring things” — from adorable baby animals and vibrant blossoms to worldwide festivals and gardening tips.
Whether you’re a beginner or fitness enthusiast, Spring into Motion will help boost your energy levels and improve your health as you enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle — in this season of renewal and beyond.
How does it work?
Starting May 5, each day you’ll track and log your motion using your favorite fitness tracker or the Spring into Motion step converter tool.
To help keep you motivated, Spring into Motion will share a new “spring thing” every day. Once you record activity, the daily image will become clear and you can test your knowledge with a fun trivia question (no points, no pressure). Plus, when you log at least 6000 steps — or the exercise minutes equivalent — you’ll earn points, colored rings, and the chance to collect badges.
Support your health and physical movement while bonding — or competing — with colleagues. Sync up with colleagues to create a department team, or participate independently. All participants will have the opportunity to win randomly selected raffle prizes!
You can also download the UC Moves flyer (PDF).
