Oakland staff: Sign up to be a vendor at the Summer Craft Fair
Are you crafty? Do you knit, crochet, paint, sew, decoupage, create jewelry or make other hand-crafted items? If so, consider selling them at the UCOP Summer Craft Fair, scheduled for Tuesday, July 29, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Oakland.
Last year’s Winter Craft Fair was a phenomenal success, showcasing the incredible talent within our community. We can’t wait to see what you will create this summer!
How to be a vendor
We are actively recruiting new sellers and seasoned sellers. Never sold before? No worries! The UCOP Craft Fair is the perfect place to show your handmade items for the first time. Your colleagues will be excited to see and support your work.
If you want to participate, please complete the online application as soon as possible. You will need to attach photos of your work and pay the $40 non-refundable registration fee. We can only submit fees via this site; we cannot accept cash or checks.
The registration fee includes a table, two chairs and the opportunity to choose your selling location in the Franklin Foyer or Lobby 1 — two fantastic spots to showcase your crafts! You keep 100% of the proceeds from your sales.
All vendors must meet the following guidelines:
- Only UCOP employees and UCOP retirees can participate.
- All items must be handcrafted — preferably by the person selling them.
- No mass-produced or imported items are accepted.
Parking information
UCOP guest parking is unavailable in the UCOP Franklin/Broadway garage on anchor days (Tuesdays and Wednesdays); however, several convenient alternative options are nearby. The Marriott City Center offers daily parking and you can also explore additional options in Oakland through parkopedia.com. For more parking information, visit the Building & Administrative Service Center website
