Attend a 3Practice Circles listening session on Nov. 6

Past APISA Chair Tony Yang and Ombudsperson Callale Concon will lead a 3Practice Circle for UCOP staff.
On Thursday, Nov. 6, from 1:05 β 2:20 p.m. (PT), join the OP Staff Assembly (OPSA) for a 3Practice Circles Listening Session β a space for UCOP staff to engage in respectful, structured dialogue with colleagues and departmental partners. Ombudsperson Callale Concon and past APISA Chair Tony Yang will facilitate the conversation.
What to expect
A 3Practice Circles Listening Session is an inclusive space where UCOP employees come together to listen, share and connect as a community, engaging in conversation within 3 practices:
- Listen with your whole self
- Be curious and ask questions
- Share from your own experience
A 3Practice Circles session is not a problem-solving or decision-making forum. Itβs an opportunity to reflect on shared experiences and strengthen understanding and community across UCOP.Β It is a safe space for clarity and understanding β with no obligation to agree β and a place to exercise your listening and communication skills while practicing empathy and learning more about each other. We do not judge others or measure their experiences in relation to our own.
Participants will be invited to reflect on a guiding question during the session: βWhat helps you feel balanced and engaged in your work, and what makes it more challenging?β
No preparation is required β simply bring your openness and curiosity.
