This will be an exciting week for UCOP Oakland staff, as we come together for two fun, in-person gathering opportunities!

Tuesday, Dec. 2: UCOP Craft Fair

On Tuesday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the annual UCOP Winter Craft Fair will take place in the Oakland Franklin Building Lobby Foyer. This is a fabulous opportunity to complete your holiday shopping with one-of-a-kind, unique gifts handmade by colleagues. This year’s vendors will include art, jewelry, décor, delicious treats and other fun gift ideas. Whether you’re shopping for family and friends — or for yourself — you won’t want to miss it! Wednesday, Dec. 3: UCOP Holiday Celebration

On Wednesday, from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m., join colleagues and UCOP senior leadership to celebrate the end of 2025! Festivities, including entertainment, savory and sweet treats, and holiday beverages, will take place in the Broadway Conference Center. President Milliken, his wife Nana Smith, and more than 20 senior UCOP leaders plan to participate in the event. This is a great opportunity to meet and mingle, not just with colleagues but also with leaders — especially those outside of your division.

“I’m delighted that UCOP is hosting our end-of-year celebration once again this year. It’s always a bright spot — a chance to step away from the holiday chaos, relax a little, and celebrate everything we’ve accomplished together,” said UC Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Rachael Nava. “I hope all Bay Area staff will join us to share in the fun.”
