Save the date for a March 2 blood drive in Oakland
On Tuesday, March 2, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., UCOP will once again host a blood drive for the American Red Cross in Lobby 1 of the Oakland Franklin building. All employees are welcome to participate!
Your donation is crucial
The American Red Cross is facing a severe blood shortage. Hospital requests have exceeded the available supply, drawing down the blood supply by about 35% over the past month. The shortage is especially serious for platelets and type O, A negative and B negative blood. Without immediate action, patients face a serious risk. Your donation is greatly needed.
