End-of-year celebration time has come, and if you’re considering hosting a department gathering to show appreciation and acknowledge achievements, you’ll need to know what you can pay for and how.
The Business Resource Center’s final Travel Talk Tuesday of the year will focus entirely on the do’s and don’ts of morale-building events and end-of-year celebrations.
Join us for a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation and live demonstrations covering:
- Event allowances: Make sure you’re not exceeding the maximum number of morale events allowed per calendar year.
- UC business meal and entertainment policy limits: Learn about funding caps and limitations.
- Event requests: BRC staff will demonstrate how to request advance payment.
- Expense reports: A step-by-step demonstration will make it easy to ensure that you correctly process any post-event charges paid via departmental cards or personal funds.
