Jan Corlett has been appointed as Executive Officer and Chief of Staff within the Division of Academic Affairs.  She will move to the Immediate Office October 5th. Jan has been at the Office of the President since 2002, first working in the outreach programs, and then assigned to special projects for the Provost.  She is currently the Deputy to Vice Provost Dan Greenstein, and was responsible for developing the Accountability Sub-report on Diversity.  Jan has a Master’s degree in International Agricultural Development, and a PhD in Geography, both from UC Davis.

Patricia Osorio-O’Dea, currently the Assistant Director of Academic Planning, has been appointed as the new Deputy to Vice Provost Dan Greenstein.  Patricia has been at UCOP for eight years, as Senior Legislative Coordinator and Assistant Director of State and Federal Relations.  She has a bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley and a Masters degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at UT Austin.
