Something you don’t know about me: I was an elementary school teacher for the Anacostia section of Washington, DC before I moved out to Oakland.
One weird fact about the town I grew up in: George Washington stayed at an inn called the Drake House before he crossed the Delaware River into battle.
If I could have any job in the world (besides the one I have now), I would be: A traveling restaurant critic.
