Some of the many books donated by UCOP staff during the October children’s book drive.

The Academic Personnel and Programs (APP) team would like to thank all of our colleagues who contributed to our book drive, which took place the week of our education in prisons panel (Oct. 21–25).

Thanks to your generosity, APP collected more than 200 books! These new and gently used donations will be distributed to two Contra Costa County detention centers, where they will help build the home libraries of children who have an incarcerated parent.
