OPSA: Get ready for staff elections and sign up for bingo on April 28
Help make UCOP an even better place to work by joining your colleagues on the OP Staff Assembly Steering Committee!
The Office of the President Staff Assembly (OPSA) is a steering committee of six to 14 volunteer staff members dedicated to promoting the interest and welfare of all career employees. Through our advocacy, social, communication and career-development subcommittees, the OP Staff Assembly supports UC’s mission. We encourage communication between staff, UCOP administration and other members of the university community on matters of interest to staff employees, in accordance with California laws and UC Regents policies. Our activities provide forums where staff at all levels can discuss issues of mutual concern and offer opinions and recommendations on policies, processes and programs.
Applications and nominations (including self-nominations) are open from Monday, May 1, through Tuesday, May 16.

Join OPSA for virtual bingo
On Friday, April 28, the OP Staff Assembly invites all staff to attend virtual bingo with colleagues from all UCOP locations, as well as UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara and UCSF.
Bingo will be led by UC Riverside Staff Assembly’s Director of Finance Penni Ebina and another special guest from UC Riverside.
There will be two virtual sessions: A matinee session, from 12 – 1 p.m. (PT), and an evening session, from 6 – 7:30 p.m. (PT). The registration deadline is 5 p.m. (PT) on April 27.
Instructions and rules will be sent to each participant prior to the games. Zoom rooms will open 10 minutes before each session.
