Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has appointed Judy Sakaki, Vice President of Student Affairs, to the California Complete Count Committee, the official entity that is partnering with the U.S. Census Bureau for Census 2010. President Mark Yudof met with students in Sacramento on Monday and pledged to focus systemwide attention on preventing acts of intolerance.

UC, in an effort to help employees balance their work and life needs, is considering changing some personnel policies and adopting others to allow greater flexibility in the use of accrued sick leave.
