As part of its commitment to serve California students with a world-class education and top-tier faculty, UC announced on Aug. 10 that it admitted a record 85,268 California first-year students for fall 2022.

UC leaders have presented a plan to increase enrollment by 23,000 students over the next eight years — the equivalent of adding another campus to the 10-campus system.
