UC’s Pay for Family Care and Bonding program is on track to begin on July 1, 2021. Here’s an update on the progress so far.
A new paid family leave benefit will begin next July
Effective July 1, 2021, UC faculty and staff who need time off to care for a seriously ill family member or bond with a new child may be eligible for eight weeks of leave at 70% of their wages.
