Jan. 17: Nancy Coolidge on student financial support

The talks are open to UCOP staff, their families and friends and take place Jan. 17, Feb. 5 and May 7, 12 to 1 pm in the Franklin building, as follows:
- Thursday, Jan. 17, 10325 Franklin, Education Tax Credits, Deductions and Savings Options: Education tax credits, deductions and other savings options and their effects on financial aid eligibility and tax liability for parents and students.
- Tuesday, Feb. 5, 5320 Franklin, Comparing Financial Aid Awards: Financial aid and the “real” cost of college to students and their families, as well as tips for bringing down the cost of college.
- Tuesday, May 7, 11326 Franklin, Education Loan Repayment Tips: Choosing a repayment plan and planning for possible public loan forgiveness and other loan cancellation options, as well as options for maximizing credit ratings, despite debt repayment obligations.
Just a reminder: Family members and friends of UCOP employees are welcome to attend the Brown Bag events with prior clearance arranged with the building security service.
