Staff Morale Survey

The Council of UC Staff Assemblies (CUCSA) is a systemwide organization composed of staff delegates from each of the UC campuses and UCOP. CUCSA works to develop solutions to issues that are important to non-represented staff members across the UC System. One of the issues CUCSA chose to address this year is Staff Morale.
CUCSA has developed a survey on Staff Morale, and is seeking your suggestions, ideas and concerns in order to inform its upcoming discussion with UC leadership.
The survey results will be included in a summary report that CUCSA will issue, and share with the Board of Regents at their July 2010 meeting.
The survey takes 8-10 minutes to fill out. All survey responses are completely anonymous.

Survey responses are due no later than Friday, January 15, 2010.

The survey format isn’t very satisfactory. The questions address only a limited range of issues, suggesting that only predetermined answers will be considered. There’s a small box for “Other thoughts,” but responses there cannot be submitted unless answers are first provided for all the “canned” questions. This seems too restrictive.
