Nearly 100 UCOP employees certified in first aid

The first five First Aid training sessions offer by Risk Services, Emergency Management, filled up quickly and will result in almost 100 OP staff receiving their two-year certification. Congratulations to all who attended and passed the certification exam!
While not a replacement for emergency medical attention, having trained, on-site first responders makes our workplace safer in the event of an accident or sudden illness.
To accommodate additional staff training, two more sessions have been scheduled:
- August 18 – Franklin, Room 5320, 8:30 a.m.-noon
- September 21 – Kaiser, Room 712, 8:30 a.m.-noon
To enroll, please send an e-mail to EHS@UCOP.edu. Enrollment is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.
